Media Planning FAQs
What is included in a media plan?
A full media plan covers channel selection, audience strategy, budget by channel and funnel stage, CPA and ROAS forecasts, flighting, creative briefs, and the tracking needed to measure qualified leads and revenue. It also shows how paid media supports organic and AI search, so every channel works toward the same pipeline goals.
Do you run the campaigns, or only plan them?
Both options work. Many clients have us plan and manage campaigns across Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Meta so strategy and execution stay connected. Others have an in-house team or another partner running the buying, and we provide the plan, forecasts, and quarterly strategy reviews they execute against.
How does AI search affect media planning?
Buyers increasingly build vendor shortlists in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews before they click an ad. We plan paid media alongside AI search visibility, so your brand shows up in both the answer and the ad. Paid search query data also feeds the AI search plan, so both channels answer the same buyer questions. AI-referred visitors convert 2 to 5x higher than classic organic traffic, according to industry studies from Similarweb and Semrush, so that visibility is worth planning for.
How much does media planning cost?
Pricing depends on scope, channels, and whether we also manage execution. Media spend is separate and paid directly to the ad platforms. Plans are listed on our pricing page.
How quickly will we see results?
Paid media produces usable data within weeks of launch, so early signals on cost per acquisition and lead quality arrive quickly. Most plans are tuned over the first 1 to 3 months as we learn which channels and audiences drive qualified pipeline. Each plan starts with channel benchmarks for cost per qualified lead and ROAS, so you can see early whether the mix is working.
Is AlchemyLeads a good fit for my company?
Media planning fits companies spending across two or more paid channels, or planning to, that want budget allocated against pipeline and revenue. We work best with B2B, industrial, technical and ecommerce brands doing $5M to $150M a year, and we only take engagements we expect to succeed.
